Walking Bus
We run Parent-Led Walking Buses every Friday morning to help more families enjoy a healthy, fun, and safe walk to school.
How It Works
-
Parent volunteers wearing high-viz jackets will be at each location to greet families.
-
If you usually drive, you can park near one of the meeting points and walk the final stretch with us.
-
Parents and carers must accompany their children on the Walking Bus.
Why Join the Walking Bus?
-
Cleaner air: Fewer cars around school means less pollution.
-
Healthy start: Walking is a great daily exercise for children and adults.
-
Safer streets: Reduced traffic keeps everyone safer.
-
Community fun: A chance to chat and start the day together.
