Year 4 will visit Chester’s Roman Amphitheatre on Monday 17^th March. The trip links to our History topic of the Romans. We will take part in shield formations with a Roman Soldier,  a Roman workshop and look around at all the Roman artefacts on display in the museum.

We will travel by coach, leaving at approximately 9.00am so please ensure your child is at school by 8.45am. We will return in the early afternoon, so the pupils can be collected at 3.15pm as normal.

Please make sure your child wears school uniform on the day of the trip so they can be easily identified in a public place. They should also bring a coat and wear suitable footwear as we will be doing some walking. Please send your child to school with a packed lunch in a plastic bag, so rubbish can be disposed of easily. If your child receives free school meals, they will be provided with a school packed lunch (choice of a sandwich, fruit, biscuit and water).
